Mark Tingle and Domenic Castagna claimed the Bensalem Golf Association Chapman Tournament with a 66, scoing a three-shot win over Mike Tingle and Steve Gerhart.

Names make news, and area junior golfers continue to excel over the summer.
The brother-sister tandem of Erica Herr and Zachary Herr posted top-5 finishes in the American Junior Golf Association event in western Pennsylvania, the Erie Junior Golf Classic at the Kahkwa Club.
Erica, 14, finished second in the 24-player girl's division with rounds of 72-73-79 for a 54-hole total of 224.

Three area players posted top-40 finishes in the 94th Pennsylvania Open held at Applebrook Golf Club.
Yardley's Jon Rusk, buoyed by an eagle-3 on the par-5 16th hole in the final round, closed with a 69 for a three-day total of 2-under-par 211. He opened with rounds of 69 and 73.
